- Yes, all new clients are required to have a consultation before their first visit (or a returning client we haven’t seen in the past 6 months) This consultation will include a NEXA skin scan, which analyzes multiple layers of the skin and highlights specific concerns. This allows us to review your skin on a much deeper level breaking down more than the human eye can see on the surface. You will get a full curated regimen skincare plan and treatment plan based on what your concerns and goals are. Please book “NEW CLIENT CONSULTATION PLAN”- this is a 2-hour service which will allow time for your consultation AND treatment in the same appointment. New clients cannot receive advanced treatments at the first appointment, the skin will need to be prepped.
- The first step to achieving your skin care goals starts here. Please come with a clean face! If you don’t, it’s not the end of the world but it does cut into your treatment time. We want your skin in its natural state to recommend a custom plan.
- Know your products- We’ll want to know anything and everything that goes on your skin, make a list of all your product names and brands or you can bring everything in!
- While you may have a particular service in mind, please have an open mind. I’ll recommend certain treatments that will truly work best for your skin.
- Are you struggling with acne? That can be very mild acne or severe acne. This program is designed to educate you on how to treat your acne and maintain clear skin long term. A curated regimen that’s specifically tailored to you and your skin. A fully binder with all the information so you can understand the ROOT cause of your acne, any lifestyle changes that may be needed, changing your makeup (a free list of acne safe makeup is provided) and any small details that could make the biggest difference. This is typically a 6-9 month program and you’ll have ongoing check-ins and in clinic treatments to assess your progress and make adjustments as needed.
- At Confident Skin Aesthetics, we only use the best of the best. We choose Rejuvapen as our microneedling device because it uses a 12 or 24 stainless-steel needle. It creates 1,320 micro channels in the skin per second. That creates millions of microchannels for a session which creates tine, controlled micro injuries in the skin, which kick off your body’s natural would healing process that activates growth factors that signal fibroblasts to make new collagen and elastin. This is great for ALL skin types and concerns.
- Please stop the use of all actives 3 days prior to your appointment. We use a compounded numbing which is overseen by our Medical Director. There is very minimal “pain” during the treatment.
- Post microneedling you will be given a post care kit that will include products that you will be required to use for the next 48-72 hours. It is important to follow post instructions. You will not apply anything on the skin for 24 hours, no working out, no hot saunas, no extended sun, no makeup, NOTHING- If you do not follow, you run the risk of granulomas. Please plan to follow all instructions.
- Slight redness, tenderness and some swelling is considered normal side effects. PS. Chassity’s favorite treatment is the Advanced Microneedling with Plated Exosomes + Peel!
- DMK utilizes transfer messenger enzymes that are designed to help communicate with the skin cells. These enzymes help trigger a process called reverse osmosis, which helps back-flush the skin cells, pushing out toxins, waste, and dead cell debris. Deep detoxification, oxygenation, circulation, stimulation of collagen & elastin production.
- Muscle Banding is more advanced level of DMK. This service is DMK 1 and DMK 2 + 3- which creates contractions of the facial muscles to help tone and lift the skin. This can reduce sagging or soft tissue.
- At CSA we have a wide range of chemical peels from light mild flaking to medium-deep peeling. This will be determined based on your skin, skin concern, medical history, regimen and how much downtime you can tolerate.
- You can expect to have anywhere from 3-7 days of peeling/flaking depending on the chemical peel used. You should plan to have no events, no plans, minimal working out etc. Proper aftercare is included. PS: Chassity’s favorite peel is the PERFECT DERMA PEEL.
- We own the Candela Gentle Max Pro Plus which is the leading laser device on the market and gives real results that last long term. This device is safe for all types and offers a dual wavelength that can target fine and coarse hair.
- Does it hurt? No, you feel slight heat and a light pinch but overall comfortable for the client. We also own a Zimmer which is a fancy machine that blows extremely cold air simultaneously with the laser.
- How many sessions do I need? We offer packages of 6, but depending on your hair, we recommend 6-8 treatment and then maintance 1-2 times a year. Laser hair is considered 80-90% hair reduction.
